As part of a regional funding initiative, CSC, acting as the lead organisation together with other partner companies, submitted a project aimed at developing new skills for the hosiery industry. The project has been approved and is scheduled for completion next year.

A fashion show combining fashion and innovation in the heart of the Hosiery District.
In July, CSC Centro Servizi Impresa organised an event at Fulgar dedicated to presenting the latest fashion trends and technological innovations in the hosiery industry.
The event was conceived to provide companies and industry professionals with a valuable opportunity to stay informed, exchange ideas and share knowledge, bringing together fashion research, advances in materials and emerging technologies. At the heart of the event was a fashion show featuring collections that reflected new directions in fashion and demonstrated the potential of innovation in the hosiery industry. The initiative also provided an important opportunity for companies across the supply chain to connect, encouraging the exchange of ideas and offering fresh inspiration for the development of future collections. Through initiatives such as this, CSC Centro Servizi Impresa reaffirms its commitment to supporting companies in the District, anticipating market developments and providing expertise and resources dedicated to fashion, research and innovation.

A celebratory fashion show showcasing garments and creations from the Hosiery District.
Coinciding with Milan Fashion Week, the Hosiery District celebrated its centenary with an institutional and symbolic event, bridging the legacy of a century of history with the trends of the future. The celebration paid tribute to one of the most established manufacturing sectors of Made in Italy, hosted by the Lombardy Region in the magnificent setting of the Belvedere Berlusconi at Palazzo Lombardia.
An event to celebrate a local centre of excellence and a strategic manufacturing supply chain that brings together tradition and the future, recognised by the Lombardy Region itself as a testament to its importance within the region's industrial ecosystem. The event celebrated a century of passion, creativity, innovation and outstanding quality, with beauty and craftsmanship at the heart of its everyday philosophy. The morning featured a press conference, a discussion with institutional representatives and industry stakeholders, and a final celebratory fashion show presenting iconic garments and fabrics created by companies from the District.

Lombardy Region meets the Hosiery District.
CSC Centro Servizi Impresa took part in the institutional tour 'Lombardia Protagonista. Qui puoi.' on May 28, 2025.
The event was attended by Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardy Region, and Guido Guidesi, Lombardy Regional Councillor for Economic Development. The focus was on promoting industrial districts and presenting Lombardy's industrial strategy, along with the new Innovation and Development Zones (ZIS). It was an important opportunity to share ideas and discuss the future of our industry supply chain. The event continued in the afternoon with a visit to Fulgar, a long-established leading company in the Hosiery District. Massimo Bensi, President of CSC Centro Servizi Impresa, and William Gambetti, National President of the Underwear, Hosiery and Beachwear Section of Confindustria Moda and Board Member of CSC Centro Servizi Impresa, shared their insights in interviews with Telemantova during the evening news broadcast on May 28.

2025 marks the Centenario della Calza, a special occasion that will represent a moment of meeting to raise awareness among all the social actors and stakeholders involved.
This event will give life to projects that will draw greater attention to the Distretto della Calza, to Castel Goffredo and to the municipalities that, through their patronage, will contribute to promoting and enhancing our territory on this significant occasion.
CSC Centro Servizi Impresa is planning a series of initiatives that will involve various associations and historical-cultural components of the district. As part of the promotion of the centenary, a press conference is scheduled to be held on Friday 7 March 2025 in Mantua, at the Casa del Mantegna in Via G. Acerbi, 47. On the occasion of the event, a small exhibition will also be set up with rare objects that tell the origins of the history of the sock, coming from both Italy and the rest of the world.
